The last weekend of September in the Spiš region was dedicated to quality spirits, regional gastronomy, and shared experiences. The Spiš Distillates Route took place on 26 and 27 September 2026. It brought together three places associated with spirit production: Spišská Pálenica, Nestville Distillery, and Castle Distillery.
Over the course of two days, visitors had the opportunity to discover a wide variety of spirits, meet their producers, and gain a closer insight into the world of distilling. The programme also featured gastronomy, music, and various activities, offering an enjoyable experience not only for spirits enthusiasts.
One of the main highlights of the programme was the spirit tastings, during which visitors could discover a variety of flavours and aromas while learning more about the individual products.
The programme also included a Škola barmana. Participants had the opportunity to try their hand at bartending skills, learn something new, and receive a certificate upon completion. The event was therefore not only about tasting spirits, but also about gaining new skills and experiences.
The gastronomic part of the programme was provided by Nestville Taberna and its Western & Grill Zone. Visitors could choose from a selection of burgers, steaks, and other grilled specialities that complemented the day’s programme.
For those who wanted to combine the world of spirits with gastronomy even more closely, there was also an option to book a VIP dinner.
Throughout the event, visitors enjoyed a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. They could take part in tastings, enjoy good food and live music, while also having plenty of opportunities to meet, chat, and discover the world of spirits together.
The musical atmosphere was provided by Južný Vietor, whose performances added to the enjoyment of the day. Music, the aroma of grilled specialities, spirit tastings, and the accompanying programme came together to create an atmosphere in which visitors could fully enjoy the entire day.
The Spiš Distillates Route was about much more than tastings. It was also about meeting people, sharing experiences, discovering new flavours, and enjoying time together in the Spiš region.
Over two September days, the event brought together spirits, gastronomy, bartending, and music. At the same time, it offered visitors the opportunity to explore the world of spirits from different perspectives and take home new flavours, knowledge, and memorable experiences from the Spiš Distillates Route.
