Starospišská Domáca Jačmenný 50% is an honest barley distillate. According to ancient documents, the history of distilling in northern Spiš dates back to 1756, although it is precisely barley that began to be cultivated here already in the 10th century. Our ancestors used barley as a medicinal crop, for sustenance and, last but not least, for the preparation of honest spirits. The orally inherited art of distilling by our ancestors, the Tatra water and aging in our own oak barrels for Nestville Whisky brings a drink with an unmistakable sweet taste and perfect harmony.
