The second-to-last weekend of the summer holidays at Nestville Park will be dedicated to farmers, breeders, craftspeople, traditions, and experiences for the whole family. On 22 and 23 August 2026, the Farmár – Traditions and Customs festival will take place in Hniezdne, bringing together the worlds of agriculture, farm animals, traditional crafts, and entertainment in one place.
If you are planning to join us, we have prepared a short guide to what awaits you over the two days, where to go, and what you definitely should not miss during your visit.
SATURDAY, 22 AUGUST 2026
Saturday’s programme kicks off at 9:00 AM, and from that moment on, you can fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of farming, traditions, and traditional crafts.

Description: A true farming atmosphere also calls for a good dose of strength, accuracy, and friendly rivalry. The Nestville Park Pitchfork Throwing Championship will put the skills of brave men and women to the test as they compete for the championship title. This unconventional discipline combines a farming theme with the thrill of competition while providing plenty of entertainment for spectators.
EVENING BULL RIDING
One of the most adrenaline-filled highlights of the programme will be Nestville Bull Riding. Brave riders will face the strength and temperament of the bulls with one goal: to stay on their backs for as long as possible. The magic number is eight seconds, the benchmark that determines a successful ride. In previous years, this discipline has been one of the most exciting attractions for spectators, bringing plenty of tension and adrenaline to the rodeo arena.

Description: Throughout the day, riders will compete in classic rodeo disciplines, including Cattle Penning, Ranch Roping, Barrel Racing, California Ranch Roping, Speed Roping, Bikini Barrel Race, and Team Penning. Each discipline tests a different skill of both rider and horse, from accurate lasso throwing to speed around the barrels. The programme will also include a ceremonial riders’ parade and demonstrations by the Nestville Horses Riding School, featuring talented young riders and their horses.

Description: Do you like surprises? Take part in the Nestville Wild Card activity! You never know what prize or challenge might be waiting for you. Come and try your luck in the Nestville Distillery Zone.
FRUXI FRESH AND FRUXI STRONG ZONE
We have prepared several activities for children in our zone:
- “FARM MISSION” Competition – buy a FRUXI FRESH, FRUXI GARDEN, or FRUXI JOY product, complete the obstacle course, and enter the draw for FRESH prizes.
- Little Farmer’s Journey – an obstacle course that will test every child’s agility and skills.
- Face Painting – with a purchase of over €5 at the FRUXI stand, children can enjoy face painting free of charge.
- Creative Workshops – colouring pages and activity sheets will be available for children in the relaxation zone.
- FRUXI FRESH Juice Tasting
Activities for adults:
- “Stop Time Challenge” Competition – buy a FRUXI STRONG and take part in the challenge. On each day of the event, we will set a target time that participants must try to stop the timer on. We will record the results, and the participant who comes closest to the target time at the end of the day wins. If several participants hit the exact target time, a tie-breaker round will take place.
- Roll the Dice – every visitor aged 18 or over can roll the dice and taste the product corresponding to the result.

NESTVILLE FARM

Prize: Winners will receive a Little Farmer certificate and a sweet treat package.
Description: To get started, purchase a Little Farmer hat, which comes with a competition card. Children then complete a series of tasks at different stations: Carriage House (score 200 points in the ball game and get the duckling to the other side), Excavator Zone (find the golden horseshoe hidden in the sand), Crop Sorting (sort corn, wheat, and oats), and Mini Zoo (catch your chicken). Each successfully completed task earns a stamp.
Once all the stamps have been collected, return the card to the Carriage House. In exchange, you will receive a ticket for a horse ride, and your card will also be entered into the draw for the Little Farmer title.
The children’s activities are available until 4:30 PM. The draw will take place at 5:00 PM at the main grandstand, where the three most successful Little Farmers will be announced.
BAČA PAĽO MEAT AND DAIRY PRODUCTS
Discover the flavours of the region through traditional meat and dairy products from Bača Paľo. They are made using ingredients from a local farm, ranging from beef and pork to cow’s and sheep’s milk. The selection includes fresh meat, traditional meat specialities and smoked products, as well as dairy and cheese products. Bača Paľo combines local farm production with the traditional flavours of northern Spiš.
AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY AND FARM ANIMAL EXHIBITION
The agricultural machinery and farm animal exhibition will add to the authentic farming atmosphere of the event. Visitors will have the opportunity to see machinery used in everyday farm work up close and meet animals that have long been an essential part of traditional farming. The exhibition offers both adults and young visitors an engaging introduction to the world of agriculture.
