From the Heart of Nestville Park to the Wild West

Adrenaline-filled Nestville Rodeo Show in the spotlight

From the early morning hours, Nestville Park transformed into a place where fun intertwined with the thrill of competition. It was enriched by the elegance of equestrian artistry and the joyful energy of country life. This day belonged to spirited horses, fearless riders, and everyone with a passion for the Wild West in their hearts.

Throughout the day, the arena hosted the Nestville Rodeo Show, the largest rodeo show in eastern Slovakia. Spectators witnessed adrenaline-charged disciplines that tested the speed, precision, and perfect harmony between riders and their magnificent horses. Barrel racing brought lightning-fast turns around the barrels.
Cattle penning showed teamwork in separating the right calf from the herd. Ranch roping tested precise lasso skills, just like on American ranches. Each start was met with tense silence, and every successful maneuver with roaring applause.

Equestrian elegance of Friesian horses

Beyond the adrenaline of rodeo, the audience was treated to elegance and grace. The Horses Resorts riding school presented a top-class dressage performance. Our majestic Friesian horses moved with such lightness and precision, it seemed as though they were dancing. This fusion of strength, patience, and flawless communication between horse and rider was one of the day’s true highlights.

Live music and dancing kept the atmosphere vibrant all day long. Bands Neznámi and Južný vietor brought authentic country vibes, and every hour, visitors could join a country dance workshop. Entertainment was enriched with unique activities such as a western throwing show, cowboy lasso and whip demonstrations, and even an unconventional cowboy pétanque.

Miss Wild Saddle 2025: beauty, charm and passion for horses

One of the most captivating moments was the first edition of the Miss Wild Saddle 2025 competition, where the jury judged not only physical beauty but also charisma, presentation, and the contestants’ relationship with horses and riding. Each participant brought charm, elegance, and a feminine touch that perfectly complemented the rodeo’s energy.

Children enjoyed pony rides, carriage rides, electric cars, and explored the corners of Nestville Farm, Goatland, Sheepland, and the Stork World playground. Those seeking relaxation could sip refreshing fruit drinks in the Fruxi Fresh zone or soak up the atmosphere of the Nestville Distillery zone, complete with the finest Nestville Whisky and fun activities.

Once again, Wild Saddle proved itself as an unmissable part of the region’s summer calendar — bringing together horse lovers, families, friends, and curious visitors in a unique atmosphere blending tradition, adrenaline, and the unmistakable charm of country culture.
