Spring Festival – May 3, 2026

The first Sunday of May, May 3, 2026, will once again belong to folklore, traditions, and the joy of welcoming spring at Nestville Park.Taking place for the twelfth time, the Spring Festival brings together music, singing, dancing, and folk art under the auspices of the non-profit organization Spolužitie zrodené z minulosti.

The event aims to introduce younger generations to authentic traditions while offering visitors moments filled with joy and energy. As a celebration of spring’s victory over winter, the festival includes Maypole raising and carters’ races full of excitement and adrenaline.

The event begins at 10:00 AM with an official opening, followed by a cultural program celebrating spring and regional heritage.Folklore ensembles and groups from the Stará Ľubovňa district will fill Nestville Park with music and dance.Visitors can also enjoy entertainment, traditional cuisine, and competitions for the whole family.

A day full of laughter, sparkling eyes, and a warm atmosphere awaits both young and adult visitors. Children can enjoy educational activities, fun games, competitions, a raffle, concerts, fairy-tale shows, animals, and many surprises.

The main stage program will entertain both children and adults with a rich and engaging lineup. Well-known performers and talented children from local art schools will sing, perform, and showcase their enthusiasm and talent. The atmosphere will be full of applause, support, and genuine joy.
