The first Sunday of May (May 3, 2026) will once again transform Nestville Park in the village of Hniezdne. It will become a place where traditions, music, and the joy of spring come to life. The Spring Festival is now being held for the twelfth time. It takes place under the auspices of the non-profit organization Spolužitie zrodené z minulosti. Visitors can look forward to a day full of colors, music, and an authentic atmosphere.

Experience a spring with a soul

The Spring Festival will kick off at 10:00 a.m. It will open with a ceremonial carriage parade passing through the village of Hniezdne. This parade will symbolically mark the start of this special day. Soon after, Nestville Park will come alive with music, singing, and dancing. Throughout the day, the sound of violins and performances by folklore ensembles will paint a vivid picture of traditions passed down from generation to generation in our region.

A program that won’t let you sit still

A highlight of the event will be the traditional raising of the maypole—a symbol of spring’s victory over winter and the shared celebration of ancient customs. Throughout the day, visitors will enjoy a rich program.
It will include thrilling timber hauling competitions. These showcase the strength of horses and the skill of our hardworking teamsters. An equestrian performance by riders from the Horses Resorts riding school will bring elegance. Their Friesian horses will captivate the audience. The wood-cutting competition will raise adrenaline levels. Visitors can also take part in various contests and enjoy entertainment for all age groups.

Taste, experience, discover

The event will also be enriched by themed zones that enhance the overall experience. The Nestville Distillery zone will offer refreshments for adults, Nestville Whisky tastings, and fun activities. At Nestville Farm, visitors will find a mini zoo where they can feed and pet the animals. For children, a Nestville Farm zone in the Carriage House will feature a variety of fun as well as educational activities, along with the Fruxi Fresh zone full of entertainment and refreshments for both kids and adults.

Traditional culinary specialties will also be an essential part of the Spring Festival, with their aromas and flavors enhancing the atmosphere throughout the day. The event will offer a space for gathering, shared experiences, and a return to the values of our ancestors.

The Spring Festival is designed for all generations, offering moments when time slows down and an ordinary day turns into an extraordinary experience.

Admission is 7€ for adults and 5€ for children, seniors, and holders of disability cards.
